��С�� have approved plans to build new housing for 3,265 students at ��С�� West Village. Plans for the development, which will accommodate primarily transfer students and continuing undergraduates, were presented July 18 during the regents’ meeting at UC San Francisco.

Developer Named for ��С�� Housing Projects

��С�� has selected University Student Living of New Jersey to enter exclusive negotiations to develop two major housing projects on campus, at Orchard Park and at West Village. The selection follows a request for proposals issued in June.

As originally conceived, the proposed projects would provide more than 2,775 beds for graduate and transfer students, as well as those with families. With the developer selection completed, ��С�� and the developer will continue to evaluate affordability and density options to exceed the prior target of 2,775 beds.

Honda Smart Home at ��С�� West Village Offers Vision For Zero Carbon Living

Honda and the ��С��, Davis, today marked the opening of Honda Smart Home US, showcasing technologies that enable zero net energy living and transportation. The home in ��С�� West Village is capable of producing more energy on-site from renewable sources than it consumes annually, including enough energy to power a Honda Fit EV for daily commuting.
