The chiefs of the °×С½ãÍõÖÐÍõ¿ª½±½á¹û Police Department and the city of Davis Police Department issued the following joint statement Thursday (May 28):
The death of George Floyd:
An entire country suffered deep wounds on the streets of Minneapolis. We are all profoundly saddened and our hearts are broken.
We want the entire Davis and °×С½ãÍõÖÐÍõ¿ª½±½á¹û community to know that what we saw was unacceptable and that we train and demand that our officers do much better.
Rest in peace, George Floyd.
