Feb. 12, Thursday -- "Metrosexuals" may be a new concept to some, but a London fashion scholar says these urban peacocks are just the latest in a fascinating history of alternative male fashion. Christopher Brewer, a cultural historian at the London College of Fashion and deputy director of research at the Victoria and Albert Museum, will speak at °×С½ãÍõÖÐÍõ¿ª½±½á¹û about the relationship between Teddy Boys and New Edwardians and 21st century male fashion subcultures. Breward's newest book, "Fashion" (2003), focuses on gender, masculinity, sexuality and urban life.
